For some time now, Sophia Goidinger-Koch has been working on works that combine instruments and electronics.
For her latest solo project, she has put together four very different pieces that were written for violin and live electronics.

Pauline Oliveros dedicated “Thirteen Changes” to the violinist and improviser Malcolm Goldstein in 1986.
For each of the 13 lines, Sophia Goidinger-Koch put her own interpretation into words for her new solo. She questions what these lines mean in today’s world. Are they universal or do they change their meaning? She has created pictures for herself, described excerpts from an incident or just lined up emotions.
